My fiance and I have always been fans of Star Wars. We would have every memorabilia and every toy released as part of our collection. Very recently we decided to start creating Star Wars inspired tshirts. We do not have the money to put up an actual store for this so we decided to just create an online store front. In creating a website, I would have used the professional website building applications but decided not to to be able to save money and time. I realized that if I design the website with my Adobe application, I will still have to purchase a hosting and domain service for the website. I used the free website builder Wix.com in creating the business website. Using the drag and drop website building interface I was able to create an interactive website. I was able to include some facts about Star Wars, a lot of photos with the tshirts I am selling, and added the Paypal payment option. My online business now is over 3 months and I have decided to switch from the free subscription to the premium one to be able to utilize the other features of Wix.com. I also am looking at getting my own dot.com to be able to have a more businessy feel. The Flash website has definitely helped my business a lot. I mean I no longer have to tell my family and friends to pass my message around that I sell tshirts. There are actually people now who just find the business online.
